Sir Frank Williams – Formula 1

Frank Williams of Williams FI formula 1 fame, was born in South Shields back in 1942.
He had a car crash in 1986 in France, injuring his spine and has has used a wheelchair since then.
He has received honours for his contribution to the sport, and was finally knighted in 1999.
