Holiday Safety
It’s not too early to start thinking about Holiday home safety and protecting your home and valuables. Here’s one that a lot of us don’t pay a lot of attention to:
Many of us park our cars outside of our garage. If you are leaving for the Holidays, take the garage door opener out of the car that you leave outside and put it in your home. It’s way too easy for a thief to break into a car parked outside and open the garage if you leave the garage door opener in your car. And it my not look real suspicious to neighbors or others passing by. A thief could clean you out in minutes if you don’t take the necessary precautions.
