David Miliband – New Labour Leader?
David Miliband is perhaps one of South Shields most famous people at the moment. He is of course South Shields Labour MP and has every chance of being named as the next Labour leader.
Although he was not born here, he currently lives here in to serve his constituency.
He lives in Tynedale Road, a nice part of the town near the college. His offices are located at 143 Westoe Road.
There is much speculation over whether he could replace Gordon Brown, so we will have to wait and see what happens over the next couple of days.
Who knows, South Shields may very well be the home of the next Prime Minister!
He lives in north London most of the time ..he is no geordie and used South shields only as a stepping stone to a safe labour seat!!
